Overview

Xu-Dong Zhu is a full professor in the Department of Biology at McMaster University. Her laboratory research centers on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying the DNA replication stress response, DNA double strand break repair and telomere maintenance. Knowledge gained from these studies is expected to aid in the design of anti-cancer therapeutics and treatment of cancer patients.
