Marla Beauchamp, Director, MIRA | Dixon Hall Centre
Hello and welcome to the MIRA | Dixon Hall Centre!
The MIRA | Dixon Hall Centre is a truly special place. Combining Dixon Hall’s extensive experience in providing community-based client care with MIRA’s cutting-edge research on aging, this unique partnership connects the community with research in a way that drives both innovation and real-world impact. I am thrilled to share the incredible initiatives and achievements of our committed team, who work every day to empower people to live well, with dignity as they age.
Community engagement is at the heart of everything we do. We work collaboratively with the community to understand their needs and build on their strengths. Supporting research that addresses aging from multidisciplinary perspectives, we’re able to tackle complex issues with comprehensive solutions that address the multifaceted needs of older adults. Collaboration and feedback guide our initiatives, ensuring our work is not only relevant but also makes a meaningful difference. We learn from each other.
Our team is committed to creating positive, measurable changes in the lives of older adults. We strive to ensure that our initiatives are accessible, inclusive and empowering—it is important to us to represent and reflect the experiences of individuals often excluded from research. Our programs and projects are designed to enhance the quality of life for the older adults we serve, and our team is proud of the impact that our projects are having.
Thank you for being a part of our journey. Together, we’re building a future where everyone can age with dignity.
Warm regards,
Marla Beauchamp
