Overview

Khaled Hassanein is a Professor of Information Systems, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, and Director of the McMaster Digital Transformation Research Centre at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. He began working at McMaster in 2000 and has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in academic journals and conference proceedings. Khaled’s research interests include digital transformation, e-health; data analytics; human computer interaction; decision support systems and neuro-information systems. He is currently researching the design of decision support tools to optimize the online shopping experience for older adults, a project funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). In addition, Khaled serves as the SSHRC leader at McMaster and supervises students and post-doctoral fellows in the DeGroote School of Business.
