Overview

Chris Verschoor is a Scientist at Health Sciences North Research Institute, Assistant Professor at Northern Ontario School of Medicine (Medical Sciences), and part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact, McMaster University.

Chris’ research asks questions to better understand immunosenescence and immune dysregulation over the trajectory of aging, and how these changes relate to compromised health and quality of life for older adults. He uses a combination of research tools and study designs to answer these questions, including observational studies, secondary dataset analysis, and in vitro/ex vivo analyses.
