Sheila Boamah is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at McMaster University. Her previous research has focused on health systems, aiming to improve organizational structures and processes, and health technologies that affect access to and quality of health care. Sheila's emerging research program at McMaster will focus on improving quality of care and quality of life for older adults in post-acute care settings in Canada. In addition, by taking an interdisciplinary approach, her research will contribute to understanding how currently siloed systems, sectors and teams across the health care spectrum can work together to combat disparities in the older adult population.
