Yufei Yuan

Overview

Yufei Yuan is a professor of information systems at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. Yufei’s expertise is ​in mobile commerce, information security and privacy, artificial intelligence, business analytics, online negotiation, human-computer interaction, and decision-making in health care. ​Yufei is currently collaborating on a study of social media use to address issues with loneliness among older populations. He is also investigating the application of online cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to deal with depression and anxiety among older adults. Yufei looks to explore how online CBT could be used as a mental therapy in conjunction with treatment of medical issues related to chronic illnesses.
