Overview

P.J. White is a Senior Lecturer and Research Director at designCORE research centre, South East Technological University Ireland. He is an Adjunct Member and Visiting Scholar at MIRA. P.J. holds a PhD in Product Design, specifically in the areas of Design Ethnography for older adults and leads a broad and deep portfolio of research within the areas of social design, ageing and co-design. This research involves leading (Irish) national and international bodies and partners. As a Product Designer, he has extensive experience innovating for small to multi-national businesses. In his academic career to date, he has been actively involved in the national and international development of academic Design disciplines and emerging Design research fields. He has lectured and conducted research at universities internationally and has consulted for Irish Government policy initiatives in the area of Design.
