Overview
Karen Saperson’s scholarly activities centre around medical education, particularly in the area of assessment, standard setting and education policy development. She was the inaugural program director of the geriatric psychiatry subspecialty program at McMaster and the current Chair of the Royal College Geriatric Psychiatry Specialty committee for geriatric psychiatry, where national policies for resident education and program accreditation are developed and vetted.
