Overview

Justin Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at McMaster University. He is actively involved with the clinical care of patients as a staff geriatrician at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and Hamilton Health Sciences. He has expertise in clinical pharmacology and the care of older adults including those living with multiple co-morbidities and frailty. This stems from his training as both a clinical pharmacist with a hospital residency at the University of Toronto and a specialist physician in Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine at McMaster University. He has a special interest in better understanding patients with high healthcare needs or costs, improving transitions of care and optimizing medication use in older adults. His program of research is focused on developing innovative strategies to support integrated care, facilitating senior-friendly care practices, and achieving the Quadruple Aim.
