Overview
Cheryl Quenneville is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and a member of the School of Biomedical Engineering. Her research is in injury biomechanics, with a focus on understudied regions of the body and loading scenarios, and combines aspects of experimental impact testing, design, numerical modeling, and image processing. Her overall goal is to improve our understanding of the factors that influence an individual’s risk of injury and translate that to clinic and industry partners in the form of improved safety limits and products to reduce the incidence and severity of injuries from a broad range of events.
