Overview

Dr. Anthony Levinson is a Professor and the Director of the Division of e-Learning Innovation, as well as the John Evans Chair in Health Sciences Educational Research at McMaster. He practices Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, with a special focus on dementia and neuropsychiatry. His area of research is technology-enhanced knowledge translation, with a specific focus on web-based learning. Key initiatives related to aging and age-related conditions include the McMaster Optimal Aging Portal; iGeriCare, a dementia education platform for family caregivers; Dementia Foundations, a training program for unregulated care providers; and the Canadian Geriatric Psychiatry Online Program. He is currently working on several research studies looking at the impact of dementia education.
