Overview

Benson Honig is a Professor in the Department of Human Resources and Management, and the Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership for the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. His research focuses on business planning, nascent entrepreneurship, transnational entrepreneurship, ethics in scholarship, immigration and social entrepreneurship, social capital, and entrepreneurship in transition environments. Benson is highly knowledgeable ​in the area of entrepreneurship and his research has been published in various academic journals. His most recent work aims to ease the lifestyle transition for both refugees and communities.
