Overview
Ashwini Namasivayam-MacDonald’s research focuses on understanding swallowing impairments (dysphagia) in older adults and developing interventions to help prevent impairment and maintain swallowing function. I also study how we can best support caregivers of older adults, specifically when they are experiencing dysphagia-related burden.
