MIRA welcome Casey Irvin as the Institute’s communications coordinator
The McMaster Institute for Research on Aging welcomes Casey Irvin as the Institute’s new communications coordinator.
Casey has a master’s degree in communications and culture and brings over nine years of professional communications and knowledge translation experience to this role. He joins MIRA from McMaster’s department of family medicine, where he worked as a knowledge translation specialist, supporting research programs and broader department communications. Prior to joining McMaster, Casey led a design team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
“I am excited to join the rest of the MIRA team in supporting transformative, interdisciplinary aging research here at McMaster,” says Casey. “Everyone ages — I’m thrilled to be part of helping people age well.”
