A project funded by the McMaster Institute for Research on Aging (MIRA) and lead by MIRA ​postdoctoral fellow Léa Ravensbergen, was featured in a news story from the ​The Conversation. The article highlights how while we know public transit can be a way to maintain older adults’ independent mobility, little research is focused on their experiences on public transit. Ravensbergen’s research aims to fill that gap.
