Reza Mirza

Overview

Dr. Reza Mirza is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Medicine at McMaster University and an Associate Member of the Health Evidence and Impact (HEI) program, where he serves as a clinical epidemiologist. His clinical expertise focuses on autoimmune rheumatic diseases, with a particular research interest in metabolic bone health, especially osteoporosis and its relationship to aging. He has co-authored several clinical guidelines in this area, including those addressing osteoporosis, X-linked hypophosphatemia, and quantifying the risks associated with anti-resorptive therapy.
