MIRA member Andrew Costa was interviewed by the Toronto Star for a story on whether for-profit long-term care (LTC) homes in Ontario should be shut down. Costa believes that a battle over profit status for LTC homes would be counterproductive and instead, he says, “We should be, across the board, investing in better staffing, more staffing, in facilities.”
