Time:

Location:

Farncombe Atrium – McMaster University

Pitch Your Project is a three‑minute‑thesis–style event that brings together students from across faculties to share their aging‑related research in a way that’s clear, engaging, and meaningful to a broad community audience. Using just one slide, presenters spotlight the why behind their work—why it matters, who it impacts, and how it connects to real experiences in aging—rather than focusing on technical methods or disciplinary jargon.

This event is designed to support students in communicating their ideas in plain language, making their research accessible, relatable, and easy to follow for people from all backgrounds. Older adult community members will join as guests, offering students a unique opportunity to share their research with the very people it aims to benefit.

Whether you’re presenting or attending, Pitch Your Project celebrates the power of storytelling, connection, and meaningful research impact.

Faculty, staff, trainees, and community members are invited to attend to hear about exciting trainee research, network and make new connections.
