Overview

Lotfi Belkhir is currently an associate professor in entrepreneurship and innovation at the Walter G. Booth School of Engineering Practice and Technology. He is the founder of Kirtas Technologies, which launched the world’s first automatic book scanner. Lofti is a physicist, researcher, teacher, inventor, and business leader with 17 years of industrial experience. His research and teaching focuses on total sustainable management, eco-entrepreneurship, and the environmental impact of digital convergence. As a mentor to graduate students at McMaster, Lofti aims to build leaders in innovation and sustainability.
