The Suzanne Labarge Lecture in Aging returns this May with physician-scientist Caterina Rosano joining as the event’s invited speakers.

Caterina Rosano, specializes in the population neuroscience of aging and the neurobiological drivers of aging. She is a professor and director of the Population Neuroscience of Aging T32 Program, associate director for clinical translation at the Aging Institute, and a faculty member in epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh.

In her talk, Aging Brains: Connecting Longevity with Vitality and Resilience (CLeVR), Rosano will draw on neuroimaging research to explore how the brain adapts over time and share practical insights that support continued engagement in the activities that matter most.

Named in honour of McMaster’s former chancellor Suzanne Labarge, the lecture brings together researchers and community members to share knowledge that is both rigorous and relevant, helping to shape how we think about health and well-being over time. MIRA thanks Suzanne Labarge for her enduring support of aging research at McMaster.

Join us on Wednesday, May 13, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at McMaster Innovation Park in the Atrium for the next installment of the Suzanne Labarge Lecture in Aging.
