Three MIRA researchers nominated for YWCA Women of Distinction Awards

Three McMaster Institute for Research on Aging (MIRA) members have been nominated for YWCA Women of Distinction Awards.

The awards recognize outstanding women and organizations who are committed to the development of other women and to the overall improvement of the community.

The Women of Distinction Awards are nationally recognized as one of the most prestigious awards for women.

MIRA ​researchers nominated include:

Young Woman of Distinction (Age 18-25):

Shaarujaa Nadarajah

Education, Mentorship:

Anju Joshi

Maureen MacDonald

Lifetime Achievement:

Anju Joshi

Nominees will be celebrated on March 8 at the Hamilton Convention Centre.
