The trainee network of the McMaster Institute for Research on Aging (MIRA) is organizing a research showcase for attendees of The Walrus Talks Mobility on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 6 to 7 p.m.

This is an opportunity for trainees to share their research in aging with researchers, policy makers and members of the general public, including older adults.

The network welcomes posters or exhibits from undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral fellows. The subject of The Walrus event is mobility, and as such, trainees are encouraged to focus on this aspect of their research for the display.

Posters can include work previously presented or ongoing research.

Abstracts can be submitted directly to the trainee network here.

The deadline for abstract submissions is Monday, Sept. 18.

For more information or questions, contact Audrey Patocs, MIRA research coordinator, at patocsae@mcmaster.ca.
